Today we went by Taiwan's Fast Train to Hsinchu with only three stops to try it out; we went on the one that makes a few stops from the top of the island to the south, but there is one that makes only one stop in that trip south At Taichung City and completes it in 90 minutes at Kaohsiung City, where we travelled today took 32 minutes two stops before ours, it was very fast it took an hour and 40 minutes by bus to come back along the highway, The fast train was opened last year after 8 years of building

Our two tickets $290T.W.D Equivalent to $10.12 A.U.D Cheap by Australian Standards but no so here.

At Hsinchu Station



We went to the two Big University's in Hsinchu this is the lake shared by both; there is talk I am told of them combining the two universities
Having a cheap meal at the university restaurant the meal cost $50 T.W.D $1.74 A.U.D very cheap the same meal outside varies from $70 to $85 T.W.D
