Today the last day before returning I did take a walk on an Island that you can walk onto when the tide is out and close to Mount Maunganui, The pictures below are taken on that Island

Today I did go to a special Maori festival where all the Maori Tribes throughout New Zealand meet and over 4 days contest to see who has the best Haka first picture are of some tribal emblems

Below some contestants on stage and on the big screen

With a Maori performer before getting fully ready to take part

Was told by the person taking my photo that the emblem on this canoe was that of the local tribe

To keep the youngsters amused they had a contest for the children to draw their fathers

Today I drove to a small town Called Tepuke, above the high price of fuel there

Today after going to church we drove to the Mount with Eileen's friend
